Pippa Milner Operations Manager
Sigma's Operation's Manager, Pips is the central cog in the well oiled administrative machine. She's in charge of integrating this with our leading back office system; business processing; account system; para-planning; general support and making sure all of the boys tow the line. Her party planning is as legendary as her football punditry (she knows the off-side rule). Her motivational techniques include buying presents; organising the weekly Sigma personal fitness boot-camp; and getting in the first round! Don't know what Sigma would do without her.

Having worked within several blue chip companies since she left Guildford High School for Girls, Pippa has been with Sigma since 2000. She has been instrumental and invaluable in developing the back office team and creating a flexible support structure for an expanding organisation.
The client service proposition that Sigma offers is deliverable because Pippa recognises the need to constantly look to improve on systems already in place. Specifically, she has replaced the data base management system with one that allows for flexibility and scalability; introduced systems and process commensurate to the needs of a growing firm; increased the skill base of her team through specific and ongoing training; produced an open architecture accounting system; and is currently working on upgrading and standardising the adviser payment process.
Her management technique is to lead by example. She is a true hands-on manager and will not let go of a problem until it is solved. She has many ways of dealing with such problems and has undoubtedly passed on many of these qualities to her team with the result that the whole operation runs smoothly. In addition to this, she has created a truly exceptional team with a fantastic work ethic, free from politics and consistently high level of moral.
